Town Hall Meeting on Aging and Health Legislative Initiatives in New York-Saratoga Springs, NY

An Interactive Dialogue with Legislators and Other Stakeholders on Aging and Health Policies in NY State

 Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm
Gideon Putnam Hotel in Saratoga Springs, New York 
1) To get updates from legislators and health and aging leadership on the current situation of aging and health in NY; 
2) To dialogue about other concerns and make proposals on how SSA-NY members can get involved; 
3) Establish an action plan that outlines how participants can get involved in developing and maintaining programming that benefits the health needs of aging New Yorkers.
In this year’s town hall meeting, national and local aging and health legislators and leaders will engage with participants in discussing their current and planned aging and health initiatives in New York and/or nationally. Participants will collectively develop an action plan on ways in which SSA-NY can get involved in promoting the health and safety of all aging New Yorkers.  This town hall was organized by Dr. Tina Maschi, Chair, SSA-NY policy committee and founder and director of the Justia Agenda.
